Jaseri Automative Group unveils its New 2nd Generation Porsche 911 Carrera & 911 Carrera S

Boosting its present line-up of Porshe ’siblings’, Jaseri Automative Group has recently introduced the latest Porshe 911 Carrera/ 911 Carrera S at KL Performing Art Centre. The new 911 Carrera model with 3.6-litre and the 911 Carrera S versions with 3.8-litre power come with direct gasoline injection, enhanced sportiness, extreme driving efficiency, extra power and environmental compatibility. Comes with flat-six power units featuring direct fuel injection, the Porsche 911 Carrera churns out 345 bhp (254kW), that is 20 bhp more than its predecessor and the 911 Carrera S easily pumps out 385 bhp (30 bhp extra) than its previous model. The 911 Carrera Coupe’s fuel consumption has been enhanced with an average of just 10.3 litres/100km and the PDK version is offering 9.8 litres/100km

Having introduced and pioneered the PDK transmission in motorsport for more than 20 years, Porsche has implemented double-clutch transmission for the first time in this latest model with seven gear shifting electro-hydraulically without the slightest interruption of traction, power and pulling force.

The new 911 Carrera comprises a new intake manifold that features two separate round filters to enhance the new engine concept, optimizing torque & engine power as well as its larger air filter durability that can last up to 90,000 kilometres (compared to 60,000 kilometres on the previous model).

Other new additional features that are incorporated in the latest models, include an optional Porsche Active Suspension Management or PASM that has been refined to provide greater smoothness, enhancement in suspension technology, as well as improvement performance in motoring; an optional upgraded tyre pressure control system that allows a displayed cluster in monitoring air pressure in each individual tyre; an upgraded, high-performance brake disc measuring 330 millimetres or 12.99-inch all round with new brake callipers, in ensuring superior stopping power and immediate stopping distances under all conditions; a bi-xenon headlights that comes with an optional dynamic bending lights for excellent illumination on winding roads following the car’s steering and an elegant intergration of six LED’s (light emitting diodes) in each headlight to provide a daytime light function; an optional availability of an adjustable enhanced seat ventilation for comforts and pleasant driving conditions; and lastly the new 911 is also equipped with new generation of Porsche Communication Management (PCM) that comes in a 6.5-inch touchscreen monitor, incorporates an intergrated 40GB hard disc, a telephone module with Bluetooth connectivity, and a controllable external audio sources directly from the PCM via USB or iPod interface.
