LG Introduces its new LG80 Full HD LCD TV and PG70 Full HD Plasma TV

LG’s technology has won the Best of Innovations 2008 Award in Las Vegas, therefore, in spearheading its TV brand name as a market leader as well as to reconfirm its unrival quality and reputation in Malaysia, LG Electronics has unveiled the LG LG80 Full HD LCD TV and the LG PG70 Full HD Plasma TV at Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur recently.

Powered by LG’s patented Dual XD engine that offers natural lifelike pictures that are not available in other TVs, LG80 Full HD LCD TV comes with a built-in 3.1 channel surround sound system packed with 500watt woofer, designed by audio GURU- Mark Lewinson (nicknamed “Golden Ear”), the 42-inch LG80 is incorporated with a “Auto Sliding Speakers” that will magically appear whenever the TV is in operating mode.

Themed “Awesome Sound. Awesome Pictures” to reflect its perfect pitch “hidden sound” and super-high resolution of 6M (1920×1080x3RGB) Pixels that is 2 times than the previous HD, LG80 Full HD LCD TV comes with a 50,000 : 1 Dynamic Contrast Ratio, response time of 2.7 mili-seconds on movie mode, Anti Dazzling System (for eye care), AV Mode which optimize picture and sound settings based on “cinema”,”sports” and “game” contents, SRS TruSurround XT & Clear Voice technology, HDMI (V.1.3 with Deep Color) that provides a wider bandwidth (340MHz, 10.2Gbps) delivering broader range of colors and speedier data-transmission, SIMPLINK and USB 2.0 (JPEG/MP3/DivX) connectivity.

The LG PG70 Full Plasma TV is also powered by Dual XD Engine with Full HD Resolution, 600Hz Sub Field Driving, response time of 0.001ms, Time Machine technology that has 160GB Built-in hard disk drive, and a respectable 1,000,000 : 1 Dynamic Contrast Ratio. Themed “TAKE IT TO THE EDGE”, PG70 Full Plasma TV is also packed with Invisible Speaker, SRS TruSurround XT and Clear Voice technology tuned by Mark Lewinson, 3X HDMI (version 1.3), USB 2.0, AV Mode, E-Con and SIMPLINK.
