Dorsett Regency is Cooking Up HomeCooked Cuisines for Ramadhan Month

Dorsett Regency Hotel Kuala Lumpur do have a delectable variety of Ramadhan goodies up in their sleeves for this upcoming fasting month. Themed Nostalgia Ramadhan with “Balik Kampung” concept, that comes with 5 types of menu offering over 100 wide selections of main dishes and appetizing desserts, the buffet of homecooked cuisines will be available for the relishing pleasure of those observing the fasting month, as well as food enthusiasts who eargerly await the ubiqutuous feasting year.

Priced reasonably at RM69.90++, the Checker’s Cafe located at the Level 2, offers exciting host-guests interactive activities at its entrance stalls and  a lively cooking Show Kitchen. While, diners can whet their appetite with local cakes and Malay delicacies like, Serawa Pisang, Chilled Peach with Sago and Coconut, Malay and Nyonya kuih, homemade cookies, Bubur Cha Cha, Bubur Pulut Hitam, fresh fruits and sweet kurma (dates), the main dishes consist of Gado-Gado, Hati Ayam Goreng Berempah, Sambal-sambal and Ulam, Daging Masak Arab, Sambal Tumis Udang Petai, Pucuk Paku Lemak Cili Padi, Sotong Tumis Jintan and several other Japanese, Chinese, as well as Western dishes are set to entice the taste buds of its salivating patrons.

Ramadhan month is always a special and memorable celebration at Dorsett Regency Hotel Kuala Lumpur as  local performer Syed Muradzi Syed Shamsul Baharun or Dee, will be on hand every single day to introduce a simple, yet a nutritious homecooked food to everyone. Dee will also be showcasing his slapsticks entertainment as well as accompany by other local upcoming artistes who will also be joining him during his presence.

The Ramadhan “Sahur” menu meanwhile, offers guests a choice of sumptuous dishes through 2 types of menu on rotation from room service order. The “Sahur” menu (RM 35.00++) and the Nostalgia Ramadhan “Balik Kampung” menu will be available from August 19 till September 20.

To spice up the momentous month of Ramadhan, an exclusive 50% discount is extended to all patrons on the first three days and the last three days of the Ramadhan month. All food preparations and cookings will be supervised under the watchful eyes of none other than highly praised Chef K.K Yau, Chef Badrul and Chef Faizal.
