Isetan FOODMARKET Re-Invented Itself to Serve Multi-Facets Society at LOT 10

In its ambition to cater multi-cultural societies living in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, Isetan of Japan Sendirian Berhad has innovatively reshaped and relaunched its new ISETAN FOODMARKET to highlight extra varieties of food to the all its loyal customers as well as shopaholics.

Located at Lower Ground Floor of Isetan Lot 10, the new Isetan FOODMARKET will serve as the new benchmark as the latest concept of everyone’s foodmarket by bringing in varieties of fresh produce and delicious foods, and at the same time allowing working class citizens to enjoy a fast, nutritious and gourmet take-aways as well as lunch hangouts or bulk takeouts for home parties. Present at the launch of FOODMARKET were, Mr. Then Kok Seong, LOT 10’s  Store Manager and Mr. Tsuji, Isetan’s  FOODMARKET Manager.

Covering a total lot size of 13, 800 square feet below the ground level, the new Isetan FoodMarket has dedicated a Deli Halal Sections to serve its Muslims patrons by offering compact and delicious Bento Boxed Lunches that comes with a variety of fish and halal meat complimented with side dishes, pickles and seasonal-limited mushroom pilaf rice. In this section, Muslim consumers as well as other patrons can indulge Yakitori, a grilled skewered chicken meat or offal, and Kushiage, deep-fried skewered chicken cutlets. These  two new aromatic meat dishes are definitely for everyone’s choice of the day. The ever-popular Sushi-Bar will please any sushi & shashimi connoisseur with a greater selection of individually packed or premium boxed-sets sushi. Weight-watchers will also be able to locate their needs at the Salad Bar & Juice Bar, to scavenge wide array of fresh vegies and tropical & seasonal fruits.

For non halal consumers, Isetan FoodMarket Deli Non-Halal counter has offered its new pork menu in : Katsu-sando, the meat is served in cutlet sandwich; in Spaghetti, the tasty meal is of simmered sliced meat  in tomato sauce; in Tonjiru, a meat base miso soup with plenty of fresh ingredients; in Chawanmushi, the dish is served in a traditional Japanese egg custard; in Shabu-Shabu Salad & in Hamburger Bento Lunch Box, ones can enjoy lean, low-fat and low cholesterol meat. Soup Bar (non-halal) is served with warm & creamy Corn Potage soup & Minestrone soup and they are available for takeouts.

For those who indulge in sweet pastry or sweet paste, Sweet Deli Halal- Sweet Bar serves tasty Japanese Confectionary such as mini fish-shaped Taiyaki- sweet red beans paste sandwiched between waffles; Dorayaki, castella pancakes wrapped around a filling red bean paste, and Mizuyokan, a traditional sweet red bean jellied dessert (available from 16-18 October 2009 only).

Right at the corner end of FoodMarket sits the Wine & Liquor Shop, which serves occasional events of wine tasting activities which commence after 5pm, and these events are for those who prefer to unwind or relax after a hectic working day.
