The New Porsche Panamera is Making Its Grand Debuts in Malaysia

As the saying goes,  ‘Trend is temporary, Class is permanent’. And with the launch of new classy Porsche Panamera, the four-seater Gran Turismo, has set a new milestone for this luxury automobile industry during this mid-Autumn.

The new Panamera comes in 3 variants : Panamera S, priced at RM998,000, is powered by V8 cylinders and 4.8 litres displacement. It churns out 400bhp (294kW), as well as 500Nm. Its engine and transmission features Electronic engine management EMS SDI 6.1, Direct Fuel Injection system (DFI), Electronic throttle (drive-by-wire), “sport” button on centre console and 6-speed manual transmission. The Panamera S’s chassis comes with a steel suspension, double wishbone suspension at front, multi-link suspension at rear, Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), Porsche Stability Management (PSM) with ABS, engine drag torgue control (MSR), BA,Tire Pressure Monitoring system (TPM), 80-litre fuel tank  with 15-litre reserve & usage of 18-inch Panamera S wheel. Acceleration for Panamera S is 5.4 seconds in 100km/hr pace and fuel consumption is 10.8 litres for every 100km mileage, while top speed with PDK is 283km/hr & top speed with manual gearbox is 285km/hr.

The solid Panamera 4s priced at RM1,118,000, comes with the extra 7-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK),  Porsche Traction Management (PTM) automatic brake differential (ABD) and antislip regulation (ASR), ables to load up to 100-litre of fuel including 15-litre for reserves. This 4S ables to accelerate 5seconds to reach 100km/hr and manage to hit a top speed of 282km/hr, while its fuel consumption is 11.1 litre for every 100km.

The great Panamera Turbo priced at RM 1,398,000, pumps out an amazing 500bhp (368kW), with 700Nm, and it features an extra 2 exhaust turbochargers intercooler compares with its two other siblings. This road pacer ables to run 4.2seconds in 100km/hr dash, with a top speed of 303 km/hr, while its fuel consumption is 12.2 litres for every 100km.

Comes with eight interior styles, six interior colours, and four two-tone finishes in several leather variants at purchaser’s preference, the safety & security features of Panamera siblings, has incorporated with Bi-Xenon headlights with automatic dynamic range control, 6-piston front, 4-piston rear monoblock aluminium brake callipers, ventilated and grooved brake discs with diameter of 360mm at front & 330mm at rear (Turbo 390mm at front & 350mm at rear), 8-airbags with active hoods system, engine immobilizer (transponder system), cruise control system, adaptive rear spoiler 2-way (Turbo 4-way).

The Panamera’s interior is equipped with climate control system, particle/pollen filter with activated charcoal canister and a luggage compartment that ables to load up to 430 litres, with rear seats folded ables to load up to 1250 litres. The Turbo’s audio & transmision model is fitted with with Standard Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with navigator module, high-resolution 7″ WVGA TFT colour, MP3 compatible, 11 loudspeakers, 235 Watt total output power, BOSE surround sound system and AudioPilot 14 loudspeakers, 585 Watt total output power, while the S & 4S model, is equipped with Porsche CDR-31, 7-inch colour touchscreen display, MP3 compatible, 10 loudspeakers, 100 Watts total power output.
