WATSONS Malaysia Launches “Great Brands Great Value (GBGV) Gotta Have It” Campaign to Benefit Shoppers

Aiming to provide greater value of benefits to its loyal shopaholics as well as to foster brand partners’ team spirit throughout the company, Watsons Personal Care Stores Sendirian Berhad (Watsons), has launched its “Great Brands Great Value (GBGV) Gotta Have It” campaign across the nationwide recently.

Commence from October 1 to October 28, 2009, the campaign has included seven of the most trusted brand names established in the beauty and skin care retailing business, namely Maybelline, Olay, Neutrogena, Bio-essence, Nivea, Sunsilk and Star Asia.

During the period of this on-going campaign, a one-day workshop will be held to educate customers or shoppers, in making the right choice of purchased products as well as creating a better understanding of suitable beauty care products. A minimum purchased of RM20 worth of any GBGV products and a copy of submitted filled-in forms, will entitle participants to participate various of exciting activities organised by seven participating brands.

According to Mr. Kulvinder Birring, General Manager of Watsons Malaysia, said “the GBGV programme is also part of the Company’s on-going efforts which is carried out annually to thank their suppliers who have over the years shown their support to all Watsons’ initiatives in giving back to the customers. Great value is not just based on price, but also on the additional benefits that customers can obtain such as customer service, added features on products and even free activities like makeovers in our stores and during our on-ground activities…”. Also present at the launch were, Miss Jessica Ng, Marketing & Development Director of Watsons Malaysia, Mr. Geof Bellingham, National Customer Development Manager of Sunsilk, Ms. Emily Eng, Key Account Manager of Olay, Ms. Caryn Loh, Merchandise Director of Watson’s Personal Care Stores Sdn Bhd, Ms. Natalie Lim, Brand Manager of Playboy, Ms Christine Ho, Product Manager of  Bio essence; Mr. Tham Teck Kuan, Customer Development Director of Nivea,  Mr. Wyken Wong, Senior Customer Development Manager of Neotrogena and Mr. Paddy Hung, Key Account Manager of Maybelline.
